Meet the Team

When you book a move, you are really choosing the people who will walk through your home and carry everything you own. So here they are. Our office team plans the day, answers your questions and keeps the trucks on time, and our crews do the lifting, wrapping and driving. Every one of them works for Nevada Movers directly, not through a staffing agency.

What Every Crew Member Brings

Background-Checked Staff

Every mover passes a criminal background check and drug screen before their first job.

Two Weeks of Training

New hires shadow a crew lead for their first two weeks before leading any part of a move.

Employees, Not Day Labor

No temp workers or subcontractors. The people at your door are on our payroll.

Uniformed and Identified

Crews arrive in company shirts and trucks, so you always know who is in your home.

Fully Covered Workers

Workers' compensation covers every team member, so an injury is never your liability.

Clear, Friendly Communication

Crew leads explain the plan before work starts and walk the home with you at the end.

How We Hire, Train and Keep Good Movers

A moving company is only as good as the crew that shows up at your door, so we are picky about who we hire. Every candidate meets with a crew lead and with Mike before getting an offer. We look for people who are strong and reliable, but also patient and polite, because a move is a stressful day and the crew sets the tone.

Training starts on the truck. New movers spend their first two weeks working alongside an experienced crew lead like Marcus Bell. They learn how to protect floors and door frames, wrap furniture properly, load a truck so nothing shifts and carry heavy pieces safely on stairs. Packing is taught by Andre Foster, and our long-distance drivers get extra training on load checks and hours-of-service rules.

We work hard to keep good people once we find them. Our movers are paid fairly, get steady hours year-round and have a clear path to crew lead, driver or office roles. Danny Ruiz started as a helper and now coordinates moves, and several of our crew leads have been with us for more than five years. That low turnover matters to you: the crew handling your move has done it many times before, together.
