Moving prices shouldn't be a guessing game. For local moves, you choose a crew size and pay a set hourly rate for the movers and a fully equipped truck. If you prefer a fixed number, we can give you a flat rate after a quick video or in-home walk-through. Either way, the price is written down before move day, and blankets, wrap and basic assembly are always included.
Best for studios and 1-bedroom homes
Best for 2- and 3-bedroom homes
Best for 4+ bedrooms and offices
More rooms and furniture mean more hours or a larger crew
Stairs, elevators, long walks from the door to the truck and HOA rules
The drive between homes, across the valley or to another city
Full packing, fragile crating or last-minute boxes add time and materials
Pianos, safes and pool tables that need special equipment
Weekends, month-ends and summer months are busiest and can cost more
Long-distance moves are priced differently. Instead of an hourly rate, we build a written estimate based on the weight or volume of your belongings, the distance and any extra services like packing or storage. For interstate moves we offer binding estimates, so the price on paper is the price you pay unless you add items. Request a quote, and we will go through your inventory by video or in person.
Request a QuoteOn an hourly move, time is money, and most of the time that gets wasted happens before the crew touches a single piece of furniture. A few simple steps can take an hour or more off your bill.
Pack everything before the crew arrives, and tape and label every box. Loose items on shelves and half-filled boxes slow loading more than anything else. Take apart what you can yourself, like bed frames, table legs and TV mounts, and keep the hardware in labeled bags. Reserve the elevator or loading dock if your building requires it, and make sure the truck has a legal place to park close to your door.
Choose your date wisely. A Tuesday move in March often costs less than a Saturday at the end of June, and it is easier to book. Pick the right crew size too. It is tempting to save money with two movers, but for a three-bedroom home, three or four movers usually finish faster and cost less overall.
Finally, get rid of what you don't need before you move. Every box you donate or sell is one less box to carry, load and unload. If you are not sure which crew size or option fits your move, call us. A coordinator will look at your inventory and recommend the most cost-effective setup, even if it's the smaller one.
Every job needs a truck, a crew and time to prepare equipment, protect floors and wrap furniture, even a small one. The 3-hour minimum covers that fixed cost. Most studio and one-bedroom moves take close to 3 hours anyway, so smaller moves rarely pay for time they don't use.
Yes. After a short video call or in-home walk-through, we can give you a flat price for the whole local move. It is fixed in writing and only changes if you add items or services. Many customers prefer it because they know the exact total before move day.
The clock starts when the crew arrives at your door and stops when the last item is placed in your new home. Time is billed in 15-minute increments after the 3-hour minimum. Breaks for the crew are not billed, and the crew lead reviews the final time with you before payment.
