Marcus Bell

Crew Lead

The Crew Lead Who Plans Every Load and Carry. Marcus Bell has led Nevada Movers crews for most of his eight years with the company. On moving day he is the person in charge at your home. He walks the rooms with you, decides what goes on the truck first and how every piece gets out the door. He is known for getting glass tables, antique dressers and oversized TVs down narrow staircases without a scratch on the item or the wall.

Eight Years of Careful Carries

Marcus joined Nevada Movers in 2018 after a few years of furniture delivery for a store in Las Vegas. He already knew how to lift. What he learned on the crew was how to plan: which pieces go against the front wall, how to tier boxes so nothing shifts on the road and when to take a door off its hinges instead of forcing a sofa through.

He became a crew lead in his second year. Today he trains most of our new movers, and they all pick up his habits: pad first, measure twice and never rush a staircase. His crews have one of the lowest damage rates in the company, and customers often mention him by name in reviews.

When a job includes a piano, a curved staircase or a 300-pound armoire, dispatch usually sends Marcus. He talks you through the plan before anything moves, so you know what will happen and why.

Anyone can lift a dresser. The real skill is knowing where it goes in the truck, how it comes down the stairs and what could scratch on the way. I plan the whole day before we pick up the first box.
