Andre Foster

Packing Specialist

The Packing Specialist Who Protects Fragile Items. Andre Foster runs packing and crating at Nevada Movers. Dishes, glassware, framed art, mirrors, lamps and pianos all pass through his hands or his checklists. He can pack a full kitchen in a morning, build a custom crate for a glass tabletop on site and wrap a grand piano so it rides safely across town or across the country. He is fast with the tape, but he never cuts corners.

Why Andre's Boxes Arrive in One Piece

Andre learned to pack at a fine art shipping company, where a scratch on a frame could cost more than a car. He joined Nevada Movers in 2021 and brought that standard with him. Today he trains our crews on packing and takes the jobs where the stakes are highest.

His method is not complicated, but it is strict. Plates go in on edge, never flat. Glasses get their own cells. Every box is filled to the top so nothing gets crushed, sealed on both sides and marked with the room and what is inside. Art and mirrors go into mirror cartons or custom crates, and pianos are padded, strapped and moved on a skid board.

The result is fewer broken items and faster unpacking. When you open a box Andre packed, you know exactly where it goes and what you will find inside. Many customers who book partial packing end up asking him to do the whole house.

Most breakage happens because of empty space in a box, not because of the truck. Fill every gap, pack plates on edge and label everything. It sounds simple, but it’s the difference between a good move and a sad one.
